How tangled can a romantic web get?
When gruff mountaineer Dominic Hartington-George seeks sponsorship for his latest expedition, his London PA insists on a more media-friendly profile—like dating celebrity supermodel Zeb Z.
Zeb can’t make the date, so he asks his identical twin, Aidan, to stand in for just one evening. Aidan, a struggling playwright, shuns the limelight to the extent people don’t even know Zeb has a sibling, but he reluctantly agrees.
When the deception has to continue beyond the first date, Aidan fights to keep up the pretense. Dominic likes his sassy, intelligent companion, and Aidan starts falling for the forthright explorer. But how long can Aidan’s conscience cope as confusion abounds? Will coming clean as “the other twin” destroy the trust they’ve built?

Have you ever had a book find you just when you needed it most? That’s exactly what Romancing the Wrong Twin was for me. I’d been going through some rough times and real life was kicking my arse when I picked this up. And let me tell you, it was just what I needed to read to make me smile during those days.
This book was just what I’ve come to expect from the Dreamspun Desires collection: funny, with a bit of fluff and a low-level of angst.
I think I started smiling as soon as I met Dom in the first page of the book. He’s one of those characters I love: a bit gruff, big, a bit grumpy sometimes, but so sweet! I could see the love he had for the mountains, and how he needed his next expedition to become a reality, so of course I was rooting for him to make it.
And then we got Aidan, sweet Aidan. How my heart hurt for him when he got that letter from the theatre! I adored him, the way he didn’t want to be on the limelight, the way he was trying to make his way as a playwright and the bond he shared with his twin and his friends.
The plot may look and be a bit over the top, but it’s really what I’ve come to expect of this collection and part of the reason I love it so much. My favourite books from this series are the ones that get me rooting for the romance making me forget all the clichés and implausible event. Romancing the Wrong Twin did that and more.
I could feel the chemistry between Dom and Aidan from the moment they met, and I really loved how their relationship developed. I could see that lying was making Aidan wary, but I could also see how having to put himself in the persona of his twin helped him grow as a person, too, giving him more confidence.
Believe me, watching these two fall in love was a delight. And this truly was a low-angst story, so even when we had the “big misunderstanding”, I could always hope it would be resolved quickly. And it was, with a last scene that wouldn’t be out-of-place in a romantic comedy.
If you’re looking for a lovely read that will make you smile, I definitely recommend this.

About the Author:
Clare London took her pen name from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home, she juggles her writing with her other day job as an accountant.
She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with award-winning novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while friends say she’s just fickle, but as long as both theories spawn good fiction, she’s happy. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic, and sexy characters.
Clare currently has several novels sulking at that tricky chapter three stage and plenty of other projects in mind… she just has to find out where she left them in that frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home.
