My review:

I guess I should start by saying that I never know how to do a review for a book of short stories. I mean, what do I do? Do I review them all separately? Do I ranke them from the ones I enjoyed most to the ones I enjoyed less? I have no idea, so I’m just going to do my thing and tell you what I liked about this book.

I loved the idea of the THIRDS thursdays (days in which Charlie Cochet gives us a little piece of this Universe she’s created) ever since I first read the series. What’s better than getting to know a bit more about your favourite characters every week? That means I had already read most of these when they were free reads in Charlie’s blog.

But that doesn’t mean I regret buying this book. First of all, the royalties go to help a good cause (if you remember, I’m a vet, so I’m a big supporter of any kind of animal rescue). And second, I love having all the stories in the same place, within easy access should I want to reread any of them.

And I love all these short stories: from seeing Dex interact with his parents, to his first date with Sloane. I’m also grateful because we get to see Character’s POV that we haven’t seen in the books so far, such as Austen, Seb or Hudson. So I would totally recommend this book if you’re a fan of the series. If you haven’t read the series, I’m sorry but this won’t make much sense to you, and it will probably spoil any future reads.

Oh! And for those of you daring enough to try, there’s an exclusive excerpt for Smoke and Mirrors at the end of this book. I decided not to read it, but I can’t wait for the next story.
